Dean R. Eriksen, age 41, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 12:04 a.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2009, shortly after admittance to St. Anne’s Hospital, Toledo, after suffering a heart attack. A 1986 graduate of Montpelier High School, he was formerly employed with Sauder Woodworking, Archbold, Ohio. He was a volunteer at Home by Grace and an active member of Grace Community Church. He will be sadly missed for his sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. Dean R. Eriksen was born on April 15, 1968, in Toledo, the son of Lawrence and Carol (Hulbert) Eriksen. He married Jackie L. Call on September 9, 2008, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Noell Eriksen, two sons, Dean Eriksen, Jr. and Travis Eriksen, all of Auburn, Indiana, two stepsons, Cody and Travis Jenkins, one stepdaughter, Ashley Jenkins, all of Bryan, Ohio, his parents, Lawrence Eriksen and Carol Eriksen, both of Montpelier, Ohio, one brother, Troy Eriksen, one sister, Amy Eriksen, and one niece, Morgan Eriksen, all of Montpelier, and numerous aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Community Church, Bryan, with Pastor Mike Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Memorials in the name of Dean R. Eriksen may be given to the family.
