Sally A. Bowers, age 75, of Bryan, Ohio, died 4:20 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Bowers was a 1952 graduate of Bryan High School and worked in the bookkeeping department at Gorny Winzeler and at Gorny Winzeler Printing as a typesetter and office manage retiring with over forty years of service. Early in her career she worked as a legal stenographer in a Wichita Falls, Texas law firm and as a secretary at a El Paso, Texas insurance company. She was a past member of the Bryan Area Business Women’s Club, Women of the Moose, Chapter #618 where she was a past president and Wesley United Methodist Church. Sally A. Bowers was born on January 24, 1934, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Les and Dorothy (Brace) Frisinger. She is survived by three sons; Bruce (Beth) Bowers, of Bryan, Ohio, Michael (Candy) Bowers, of Montpelier, Ohio, Jeffrey (Bobbi) Bowers, of Edgerton, Ohio, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Stephen Frisinger, a half-brother, Jeffrey Lindsey, stepfather, Woody Lindsey, stepmother, Audrey Frisinger and two grandsons, Nicholas W. Bowers and Michael Richard Bowers. Services for Sally A. Bowers will be held on Friday, July 17, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio with Pastor Mark Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery near Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 16. Memorials in the name of Sally A. Bowers may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospice Care.
