Stanley S. MacDougall

Stanley S. MacDougall, 78 years, of Bryan, and formerly of Oxon Hill, Maryland, died Monday, February 19, 2007 in the emergency room of Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, Ohio. A Navy veteran, Stanley was employed by the National Security Administration for many years. He was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church, Hillcrest Heights, Maryland and was a Past-President of the Citizens Association of Oxon Hill, Maryland. He enjoyed square dancing in his leisure time. Stanley S. MacDougall was born on June 9, 1928, in Bemidji, Minnesota, the son of Gordon Leslie and Lillian (Greenwood) MacDougall. He married Ruth L. (Shaner) Fones on October 25, 1969 in Lanham, Maryland, and she preceded him in death on November 16, 2006. Surviving Stanley is his brother, Donald (Gladys) MacDougall of Oxon Hill, MD; two sisters, Amy (Harold) Aldrich of Atkins, Iowa, and Grace Wilson of Wentzville, Missouri, along with several nieces and nephews. Stepdaughter, Geri Severs of Bryan, Ohio; two stepsons, Ronald (Shelley) Fones of Easley, South Carolina and Kenneth (Elizabeth) Fones-Wolf of Morgantown, West Virginia. Graveside service for Stanley S. MacDougall will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladesburg Road Brentwood, Maryland, 20722. There will be no visitation for Mr. MacDougall. Memorials in the name of Stanley S. MacDougall may be given to Hillcrest Baptist Church 2200 Iverson Street, Hillcrest Heights, Maryland 20748.
