Phyllis M. Robinett, age 88, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 11:07 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2009, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, where she was a patient. Mrs. Robinett was a 1939 graduate of Hicksville High School and also graduated from Bowling Green State University. She taught in Edgerton High School for eight years and in Stryker High School for twenty-three years. Her memberships included Wesley United Methodist Church, Cheerful Givers Circle, Ohio Retired Teachers Association, Williams County Retired Teachers, Bryan Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and Ladies Oriental Shrine in Toledo, Ohio. Phyllis M. Robinett was born on July 21, 1921, in Hicksville, Ohio, the daughter of Bruce and Leota (Voght) Kline. She married G. Wendell Robinett on June 29, 1947, in Hicksville, and he preceded her in death on June 18, 1993. Mrs. Robinett is survived by a stepdaughter, Vicki (and the late Jack) Fortney, of Bryan, a stepgranddaughter, Karen, two stepgreat-grandsons, Matthew Hagerman and Mark (Taryn) Hagerman, one brother, Derrill (Cora) Kline, of Hicksville, one sister-in-law, Lenore (Marlin) Mansfield, of Bryan, and several nieces and nephews. Grave side services for Phyllis M. Robinett will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in Shiffler Cemetery, near Bryan, Ohio, with Reverend Dwight Bowers officiating. Memorials in the name of Phyllis M. Robinett may be given to the Bryan Public Library.
