View Video Tribute Floss “Irene” Harris, 75 years, of Bryan, died at 9:02 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Community Hospitals & Wellness Center, Bryan, Ohio. Irene was a press operator at the former Vistron Company for 14 years. She then worked at Allied Moulded Products for a short period of time. She was a member of the Bryan Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. Floss “Irene” Harris was born on February 21, 1931, in Trimble Township, Ohio, the daughter of Harve and Nina (Braley) Reeves. She married William “Ray” Harris on July 2, 1948 in New Lexington, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Ray, Irene is survived by one son, Gene (Shirley) Harris of Bryan; three daughters, Ruth (Patrick) Stein of Edon, Kathy (Mike) Prokop of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and Brenda Cogswell of Bryan; son-in-law, Dean Blosser of Bryan; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Harvey (Janet) Reeves of Midland, Michigan and two sisters, Mary Reeves of Bryan and Sharon (Gene) Yant of Bay City, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Karen Blosser; one sister, Betty Brunton and one brother, Robert Reeves. Funeral services for Irene Harris will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Rev. Gary D. Keisling, officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, rural Bryan. Visitation for Mrs. Harris will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2006 in the funeral home. Memorials in the name of Floss Irene Harris may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
