Helen L. Johnson

Helen L. Johnson, age 91, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 12:10 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Visiting Nurses and Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana where she was a resident. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of Edgerton Church of Christ and formerly of the Edgerton Garden Club. Helen L. Johnson was born April 17, 1917 in Butler, Indiana the daughter of Cyrus and Minnie (Turner) Rosenberry. She married Golden H. Johnson on September 26, 1936 in Edgerton, Ohio and he preceded her in death on December 23, 1970. Mrs. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Neil) Habegger, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one sister and one brother. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Darvin A. Johnson and a brother. Services for Helen L. Johnson were private with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Helen L. Johnson may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Hospice Care or to the Visiting Nurses and Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. Krill Funeral Service, of Edgerton, Ohio was in charge of arrangements.
