View Video Tribute Janet M. Blom, age 47, of West Unity, Ohio, died at 4:47 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2007, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio. She was employed by the Ohio Art Company in Bryan, Ohio, and retired due to disability after twenty-five years of service. Janet M. Blom was born on October 26, 1960, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Paul E. and Mary L. (Holt) Rhodes. She married Leo P. Blom on October 14, 1989, in Montpelier, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Blom is survived by a daughter, Amanda J. Blom, at home, two brothers, Rick (Norma) Rhodes, of Ney, Ohio, and Jerry (Heidi) Rhodes, of Edgerton, Ohio, one sister, Amy (Joe) Walling, of Montpelier, Ohio, and four nephews, Kevin, Brandon and Ian Rhodes and Taylor Tripoli. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Judy Rhodes. Services for Janet M. Blom will be on Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home at 860 West Mulberry Street in Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Pat Holt officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Bryan, Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorials in the name of Janet M. Blom may be given to the Parkinson’s Research Foundation.
