Marian Lenore Kirkpatrick

Marian L. Kirkpatrick, age 83, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Hillside Country Living, where she was a resident. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a graduate of West Unity High School and attended Bowling Green State University. She was a member of the Bryan Church of the Nazarene, Bryan VFW Post #2489 Ladies Auxiliary and was a former member of the West Unity Order of the Eastern Star. Marian L. Kirkpatrick was born on July 6, 1925, in West Unity, Ohio, the daughter of Charles D. and Nora A. (Beuchler) Grim. She married Theodore M. Kirkpatrick on March 22, 1947, in Angola, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on April 28, 1988. Mrs. Kirkpatrick is survived by her five children, Linda S. Roose, of Bryan, Ohio, Theodore M. (Marsha) Kirkpatrick, Jr., of Bryan, Ohio, Jane A. (James) Dennison, of Bryan, Ohio, Thomas Kirkpatrick, of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Barbara J. (Dave) Kendall, of Bryan, Ohio. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Dortha Grim, of Bryan, Ohio. She was preceded in by death her parents, husband and two brothers, Robert and Maurice Grim. Visitation for Marian L. Kirkpatrick will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Services will be on Friday, July 3, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio, with visitation one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Roger Blough of the Bryan Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery. Memorials in the name of Marian L. Kirkpatrick may be given to the Foundation for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders.
