Evadne E. Casebere, age 90, a lifelong resident of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2007, in Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers of Williams County in Bryan, where she was admitted earlier in the day. Mrs. Casebere was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton and the Rosary Altar Society. Evadne E. Casebere was born on March 9, 1917, in Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Bernard J. and Goldie F. (Cape) Herman. She married Carolus Stanley Casebere on September 28, 1936, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on December 14, 1997. Mrs. Casebere is survived by one daughter, Mrs. LaVern (Carolyn) Franz, of Edgerton, Ohio, four sons, J. Stanley (Sandy) Casebere, of Edgerton, Ohio, David H. (Cheryl) Casebere, of Edgerton, Ohio, Lee A. (Patricia) Casebere, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Joseph B. (Debra) Casebere, of Greenville, North Carolina. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, four great-great- grandchildren, one brother, James (Beth) Herman, of Edgerton, Ohio, and three sisters, Jean Wehrle, of Edgerton, Ohio, Patricia (Herb) Kruse, of Lima, Ohio, and Margaret (Don) Lowe, of Toledo, Ohio. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Casebere was preceded in death by one brother, Clair Herman, one sister, Iris Siebenaler, and one granddaughter, Jessica Casebere. Services for Evadne E. Casebere will be on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Stephen Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be at the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, November 12, with a scripture service at 8:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service in St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Evadne E. Casebere may be given to the St. Mary School or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
