Charles H. Miller, age 93, of Edon, Ohio, died at 5:29 a.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, Ohio, where he was a patient. Mr. Miller was plant manager for Simpson Industries, Edgerton Manufacturing Division, for twenty-three years until his retirement in 1976. He was an Edon resident for fifty-four years. Charles H. Miller was born on August 4, 1914, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Henry and Edith Juanita (Fisk) Miller. He married Margaret M. McLouth on February 21, 1942, in Jonesville, Michigan, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Miller is survived by three sons, Larry (Hiroko) Miller, of Austin, Texas, James (Nancy) Miller, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Charles (Patricia) Miller, of Hicksville, Ohio, three daughters, Barbara Gillispie, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Susan (Carl) Rhodes, of Edon, Ohio and Diane (Kenneth) Buinowski, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is also survived by one brother, Max Miller, of Sturgis, Michigan, twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers. Services for Charles H. Miller will be private and interment will be in the Edon Cemetery. Memorials in the name of Charles H. Miller may be given to the Foundation for Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders.
