View Video Tribute Joseph Andrew Wolff, age 77, of Edon, Ohio, died at 7:40 p.m. on Friday, December 8 2006, at The Inn of Fountain Park in Bryan, Ohio, where he was a resident. Mr. Wolff was owner and operator with his father, of Wolff Tractor Service in Edon, Ohio, until his retirement in 1988. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean Conflict, and was a member of Edon American Legion Post #662. He was firefighter with the Florence Township Fire Department of which he served as Fire Chief for many years. He was also charter member and E.M.T with the Edon Emergency Medical Service and served as a Williams County Special Deputy for many years. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and also the Edon Masonic Lodge #474. Joseph Andrew Wolff was born on July 24, 1929, in Steuben County Indiana, the son of Cardinal F. and Mary Ellen (Robison) Wolff. He married Velva Delores Hemry on November 1, 1953, in Metz, Indiana, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Wolff he is survived by two sisters, Gloria Noll, of Conroe, Texas, and Betty (Ora) Stayner, of Edon, Ohio, ten nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Heller. Services for Joseph A. Wolff will be on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Edon with Reverend Clayton J. Bailey officiating. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral in Edon, Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, with Masonic services conducted at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Edon Cemetery, with graveside military rites conducted by Edon American Legion Post #662. Memorials in the name of Joseph A. Wolff may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Home Health Care.
