Annie Pearl Simmons was born on July 19, 1927, in West Blocton, Alabama, the daughter of Henry and Bessie (Miller) White. She married James Edward Simmons on February 17, 1962 in Bainbridge, Georgia, and he survives.. Surviving is her husband James E. Simmons of Sneads, Florida, daughter, Mildred (James) McCague of Ney, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jeanette Booth of Sneads, Florida, Gene (Leshia) Watson of Sherwood, Ohio, Kitty McCague of Lake Orient, Michigan, Linda (George) Green of Montpelier, Ohio and Loretta Quimby of San Antonio, Texas; 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Chelce (Carolyn) White of Centerville, Alabama and Buster (Janet) White of Vance, Alabama; five sisters, Christine (James) Johnson of West Palm Beach, Florida, Kathleen McGee of Centerville, Alabama, Nell Wyrybkowski of Centerville, Alabama, Bet White of Birmingham, Alabama and Minnie Zigler of Seattle, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, JB, Jackie and Booth White and one sister, Coot White. Funeral services for Annie Pearl Simmons will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Jeff Forsyth, officiating. Visitation for Annie Pearl Simmons will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007 from 4 -8 p.m in the funeral home. Memorials in the name of Annie Pearl Simmons may be given to the Lighthouse Unit of Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio 1104 Wesley Avenue, Bryan, Ohio 43506.
