Thomas L. Eyer, age 82, of Montpelier, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Evergreen Manor following an extended illness. Mr. Eyer worked for the Williams County Highway Department, The Ohio Art Company, and L & R Cleaners. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, was a former member of Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233 and owned and operated Golden Barn Antiques in Bryan for fifteen years. Thomas L. Eyer was born on September 18, 1935, in Goshen, Indiana, the son of Roy and Hilda (Kring) Eyer. He was a graduate of Bryan High School. On October 7, 1967, he was married to Rosemary M. Rau and she survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Sandy (Eric) Evans, of Wellington, Ohio; a son, Shawn Eyer, of Alexandria, Virginia; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ed, Dick, and Robert Eyer. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, Bryan, Ohio. Memorials are requested to Bryan Senior Center.
