Kenneth L. Robarge, age 55, of Evansport, Ohio, went to meet his Savior on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Ken Robarge was a 1981 graduate of Edgerton High School and had been an independent owner and operator truck driver for more than thirty years. He also worked at Sauder’s Barn restaurant in the kitchen, at Sauder Village as a barber and at the Heritage Inn as a guard, as well as working in the repair and sales of garden and pulling tractors. He was a member of the Full Throttle Garden Tractor Club and enjoyed playing cards, especially in the euchre tournaments in Evansport. A man of deep faith, Ken had an outgoing, cheerful and uplifting spirit and was always willing to help his fellow man in a time of need. He was willing to share his faith with people and was a chaplain with “Transport for Christ.” He was also a Life member of Full Gospel Businessmen and an enthusiastic supporter of Relay for Life. Kenneth L. Robarge was born on January 3, 1963, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Paul E. and Janice J. (Renz) Robarge. He married his soul mate, whom he met at Christian Singles, Kimberly S. (Short) Rosebrock, on October 8, 2011, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stryker, Ohio, uniting a deeply Christian man and woman. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly; his parents, Paul and Janice Robarge, of Edgerton, Ohio; two sisters, Charlotte (Mark) Brandt, of Bryan, and Sharon (Neil) Krill, of Edgerton; two stepsons, Brandon and Jordon Rosebrock; his mother-in law, Phyllis Short, of Sarasota, Florida; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Brett) Corbin, of Pettisville, Ohio, Kori (Doug) Tuckerman, of Angola, Indiana, Kelly (Scott) Lantz, of Sarasota, Florida and Kris (Tyson) Martin, of Virginia; 6 nephews; 9 nieces; 12 great nieces; 9 great nephews; 1 great-great niece and 1 great-great nephew and his beloved dachshund dog, Elvis Presley. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at St. John’s Lutheran Church Family Center at the corner of State Routes 6 and 66 near Archbold, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, Bryan, Ohio. Memorials are requested to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stryker, Ohio.
