Jerry R. Caswell, age 61, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 12:12 P.M. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after an extended illness. Mr. Caswell was a 1974 graduate of Bronson High School in Bronson, Michigan, and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He had been a longtime employee of JCIM/Yanfeng in Bryan and was a member of Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233 and Bryan Amvets Post #54. Jerry was an avid Michigan fan, enjoyed shooting pool and throwing darts and loved to dance. Jerry Russell Caswell was born on March 12, 1956, in Angola, Indiana, the son of Russell and Irene (Bouman) Caswell. He is survived by his children, Justin (Crystal) Huard, of Convoy, Ohio, Jerrad Caswell and Dove Caswell, both of Bryan; seven grandchildren; his father, Russell Caswell, of Angola, Indiana; one brother, Steve Caswell, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and one sister, Dorothy May Caswell. Special people in Jerry’s life included his former wife of twenty-three years, Tina Stantz, of Bryan; his mother-in-law, Marti West, of Bryan; and his sister-in-law, Kitty Corwin, also of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene. Services celebrating Jerry’s life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 4:00 P.M. at Bryan Amvets Post #54, 222 Paige Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the family to help with final expenses.
