The Lord has determined that the physical ministry of Marian Ruth (Warner) Stotz, age 91, of Bryan, Ohio, on earth was completed Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her home. The spiritual ministry of her life continues to live on. After fighting numerous health issues for the past 18 months, Marian is at peace with her Lord and Savior. Marian (also affectionately known as Ruthie, Toylade, Bunny and Sarge) was born June 1, 1926, near Hicksville, Ohio, one of three daughters and a son to Albert and Audrey (Dey) Warner-Tolles. Marian was a 1944 graduate of Farmer High School and a highly valued and respected employee of the Ohio Art Company from 1946 until her retirement in 2000. Marian is survived by her son, James and his wife Carryann Stotz, of Monett, Missouri; a sister, Evelyn Caryer, of Sherwood, Ohio; grandson, Jason and his wife Melanie Stotz, of Bryan; step grandchildren, Della Pankow, of Dunedin, Florida, Pamela Weage, of Angola, Louisiana and Lori Flores, of Monett, Missouri. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, friends and acquaintances who were able to witness her love of the Lord. The family would like to acknowledge a very special cousin, traveling companion and caregiver who she was able to find very late in her life, Richard “Butch” Dey, of Warsaw, Indiana. The family would also like to acknowledge another special person in her life who was like a second son to her, Ted Mathes and his wife Anita, of Pulaski, Ohio as well as her caregivers with Community Health Professionals and Heart at Home Compassion Care. Marian was preceded in by death her parents; brother, Ronald Warner and sister, Eleanor Miller. Visitation for Marian R. Stotz will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Faith United Methodist Church, Bryan, Ohio with Pastor Eric Daily and Ted Mathes officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Redbird Mission in Beverly, Kentucky or Heifer International in Little Rock, Arkansas.
