Marc Thompson, age 48, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 2:37 A.M. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance. Marc was a 1987 graduate of Bryan High School. He was a carpenter and owned his own construction business, M. & S. Builders in Bryan and then A Carpenter Named Marc in South Carolina. He attended Eastland Baptist Church in Bryan. Marc was a talented artist, loved working with his hands to build things, playing hockey and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
Born June 16, 1969 in Coldwater, Michigan, Marc was the son of Charles Thompson and Merry (Warner). He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Merry (Mike) Beavers, of Bryan; father and stepmother, Chuck (Susan) Thompson, of Cape Coral, Florida; brother, Michael (Ashley) Thompson, of Hicksville; sister, Brynne (Joe) Furko, of Sylvania; grandfather, Harry (Nancy) Warner, of Bryan; nephew, JT Furko, of Sylvania; niece, Kenzi (James) Merritt; special great nephew, Luke Merritt and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alyce Warner, Chuck and Jean Thompson and Helen and Dale Beavers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. with funeral services being held at 3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Pastor Jeff Sheldon will officiate the service. Friends and family are requested to wear jeans and concert T-shirts.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the American Heart Association.
