Mildred “Skip” Ritchey, age 90, of Napoleon, Ohio and a long time resident of Bryan, died at 4:35 P.M. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Lutheran Nursing Home in Napoleon, Ohio, where she was a resident. Skip was a waitress at Lester’s Diner in Bryan for 20 years. She was a people person and loved serving at the restaurant. She was a member of the Montpelier Moose Lodge and was an avid camper.
Born on September 10, 1927, in Bryan, she was the daughter of Roy and Bertha (Fasnaugh) McNamee. Skip married Karl M. Ritchey on June 29, 1946 in Bryan and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1987.
Survivors include her children, Dan Ritchey, Jeff (Sandy) Ritchey and Deb (Scott) Schnitkey, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and five brothers.
Private family services were held at Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan with Pastor Lee Genter officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
