Larry G. Dennie, age 78, of Bryan, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord at 2:42 A.M. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance. Mr. Dennie worked at Chief Supermarket for 40 years retiring as the Meat Department manager in 2000. He was a veteran of the US Army Reserves, an avid fisherman, golfer and hunter.
Larry G. Dennie was born on November 18, 1938, in Napoleon, Ohio, the son of Lloyd and Ruby (Ritter) Dennie. He married Shirley Shartzer on July 2, 1960, and she survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Lisa (Kenny) Walz, Robert (Billie) Dennie and Diana Dennie, all of Bryan; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a brother, Robert Dennie, of Napoleon. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Dennie.
Services for Larry G. Dennie will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at 3:00 P.M., at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio with Pastors Mike Slagle and Sam Byroads officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. Interment will be in Brown Cemetery.
