Jerry Lee Kline, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, in his home. Mr. Kline was a 1963 graduate of Edon High School and entered the United States Army, serving in communications on the DMZ in Korea. He later attended International Business College and went on the work for the 50 Corporation for a number of years. He also drove truck, worked as an appraiser and in well drilling. Jerry enjoyed working around his home, loved sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians, playing baseball and gardening. Most of all he loved kids and his cats. Jerry Lee Kline, was born on February 9, 1945, at home in Edon, the son of Ray H. and Dorothy B. (Childs) Kline. Survivors include one sister, Patricia Kline, of Irvine, California; two brothers, Willard (Paula) Kline, of Bryan, Ohio and John (Gala) Kline, of Edon; numerous nephews and nieces; and great-nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents. Grave side services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. in the Edon Cemetery with Pastor Eric Dailey officiating. Grave side military rites will be conducted by Bryan VFW Post #2489. Memorials may be given to charity of the donor’s choice.
