H. Eugene “Gene” Sinn, age 87 of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 surrounded by his family, at Genesis Healthcare-Bryan Center. Gene was a farmer and was a member of Pulaski United Methodist Church and former member of Faith United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Williams County Pork Producers, Fair Foundation and Old Ivory Antique club. Gene was a former member of the Bryan Moose Lodge, and Gideon’s International.
Harley Eugene Sinn was born February 25, 1930 at home in Bryan, the son of Harry and Dorothy (Newcomer) Sinn. He graduated from Bryan High School. Gene married Kathryn M. Wiles in Bryan on December 9, 1950 and she survives. Gene is also survived by his daughters, Marsha (Larry) Beck, Susan (James) Jackson, Janice (Rick) Moore and Lori (Doug) Hammond, all of Bryan; five grandchildren, Scot, James, Travis, Mason and Jessica; four great grandchildren and his sister, Betty (Tom) Klopfenstein, of Waterman, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 11:00A.M.-1:00 P.M. at the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan with funeral services to follow at 1:00 P.M., officiated by Pastor J. Mark Holbrook. Burial will follow at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Pulaski United Methodist Church.
