Randy G. Gotshall, age 58, of Bryan, Ohio, peacefully entered his heavenly home, safe in the arms of Jesus, at 6:57 A.M. on Sunday, July 16, 2017, surrounded by his family after a brief illness. A 1977 graduate of Bryan High School, he served in the United States Army in Germany for three years and went to work for Anderson-Vreeland in 1980, where he was the regional warehouse manager and currently had thirty-seven years of service with the company. Randy was a devoted member of the Bryan Gospel Tabernacle, where he found and loved Jesus, was an avid fisherman and Sprint car racing fan and enjoyed playing golf. He was passionate about his garden and enjoyed woodworking and restoring their home and canning what he grew. Most of all he was a loving husband, son and brother who enjoyed being with family.
Randy G. Gotshall was born on December 24, 1958, in Montpelier, Ohio, the son of Raymond A. and Barbara (Mann) Gotshall. He married Michelle R. Pollock on June 16, 1984, at George Bible Park, near Montpelier, Ohio, and she survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Barb Gotshall, of Bryan; one brother, Mark Gotshall, of Bryan; his beloved dogs, Daisy Mae and Gabby; and numerous nephews and nieces and great-nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father in 2008.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 20, 2017, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service celebrating Randy’s life will follow immediately, beginning at 3:00 P.M., in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor B.L. Yoder and Israel Aguilar officiating. Interment will be private.
Memorials in the name of Randy Gotshall are requested to Bryan Gospel Tabernacle or the Williams County Humane Society.
