Terry Lee Blue, age 65, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away at 7:29 A.M. on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at home surrounded by his family after an extended illness. Mr. Blue was a 1971 graduate of Edgerton High School. An excellent finish carpenter, he had been self-employed until his retirement and had previously been employed by Fleetwood Trailers in Edgerton, Straley Construction and Siebenaler Construction. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed working around his log cabin and in his huge garden and playing with is beloved cats, Bella and Molly.
Terry Lee Blue was born on June 30, 1952, in Garrett, Indiana, the son of Kenneth E. and Rita A. (Cape) Blue.
Survivors include two brothers, Scott (Barb) Blue, of Edgerton, and Steven Blue, of Spencerville, Indiana; one sister, Susan (Gene) Valovich, of Bluffton, Indiana; his longtime companion, Marijo Emenhiser, and her children, Matthew, Nicolas and Benjamin Emenhiser; his stepbrothers and sisters, James (Becky) Wuebben, of Edon, Ohio, Elaine (Dennis) Pauken, of Portage, Ohio, Donald (Penny) Wuebben, of San Antonio, Texas, Teresa (Gary) Brown, of Bryan, and Allen (Sheila) Wuebben, of Kettering, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Clarence Wuebben.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, with recitation of the rosary to follow at 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton with Father Daniel Borgelt officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
