Patricia D. Dietz, age 78, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away following a short stay at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Pat had been a waitress at the former Kauffman’s Restaurant in Bryan, was a press operator at the former Vistron, she then worked at Anderson-Vreeland as a billing clerk from 1973-2002 when she retired. Not wanting to be a home body, she went back to work at Bryan Truck Lines as a billing clerk. Pat enjoyed trips to casinos, garage sales and loved animals. Patricia was born on March 17, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Ferdinand “Fred” and Lillian (Werscher) Dietz. Pat is survived by her son, Kenneth Calandra, of Bryan; a brother, John “Buster” Dietz, of New York, New York, many nieces and nephews; very dear friends and her cats, Rosie, Lucky and Tiger. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Howard Dietz and sisters, Charlotte Heller and Lillian Magaster. In accordance with Pat’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. She wanted her friends and family to remember her as she lived. Memorials are requested to Cancer Assistance of Williams County or the Williams County Humane Society.
