Lowell O. Barbee, age 68, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 4:31 A.M. on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Barbee had been employed in several different manufacturing companies through out his work career prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Wauseon American Legion.
Lowell O. Barbee, was born on January 5, 1949, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Raymond and Dorothy (Smith) Barbee. He married Susan K. (Rashley) Gunter on August 1, 2001, in Montpelier, Ohio and she survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons, Gary (Bobbi Jo) Barbee, of Defiance, Ohio, and Michael (Amy) Barbee, of Saginaw, Michigan; two step daughters, Heather (Carlos) Gunter, of San Diego, California, and Andrea Gunter, of West Palm Beach, Florida; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy Lovelace, of Lakeland, Florida; three sisters, Barbara (Jim) Stewart, of Lakeland, Florida, Denise (Dennis) Klinepeter, of Waterville, Ohio, and Annette (Jeff) Anders, of Stryker, Ohio; and his aunt, Evelyn Gorrell, of Hicksville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Carol Young.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017, from 12:00-2:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Service will follow beginning at 2:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Kevin King officiating. Interment will follow in Farmer Cemetery.
