June M. Shook, age 80, of Montpelier, Ohio, died at 3:21 P.M. on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers- Bryan. June was a member of the Bryan First Church of Christ. She worked as a bank teller at Citizens Bank, National City and retired from PNC Bank. June sold Tupperware for 20 years, volunteered at the Church Women United Thrift Store and was a poll worker for many years. She enjoyed going to auctions and antiquing.
Born on June 26, 1936, in Bryan, Ohio, June was the daughter of Clarence W. and Lucille (Brannan) Finken. She married Roland T. “R.T.” Shook on April 30, 1955, in Angola, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on October 14, 2007.
June is survived by three sons, Michael (Ruth) Shook, of Montpelier, Robin (Donna) Shook and Bruce (Stephanie) Shook, both of Bryan, Ohio; one daughter, Lori (Tim) Pierce, of Dalton Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services for June M. Shook will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 22, 2017, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Homer Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Bryan from 1:00-5:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 21, 2017.
