Arlene M. Franks, age 85, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 3:15 P.M. on Monday, April 3, 2017, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance. Arlene was a screw driver machine operator at Allied Moulded in Bryan, where she worked for 20 years.
Born November 11, 1931 in Bryan, Ohio, she was the daughter of Floyd and Ethel (Deck) Impton. She married Leo B. Franks on February 8, 1949 near Auburn, Indiana and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2013. Surviving are Arlene’s sons, Skip (Julie) Franks, Kenny (Deb) Franks and Rick (Char) Franks, all of Bryan; daughter, DiAnn (Rick) Beilke, of Bryan, 15 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Donnabelle Coy and Leona Shirkey and brothers, Harold Impton, Robert Impton and Ray Impton.
Funeral services for Arlene M. Franks will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio with Pastor Mark Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow the service at Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
