Larry K. Carter, age 74, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017, at his home. Larry worked in Sales and Marketing at Aro/Ingersoll Rand for 35 years and then Edgerton Forge for five years, until his retirement. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles in Bryan and enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.
Larry was born on December 28, 1942, in Van Wert, Ohio, the son of Raymond L. and Dora M. (Curry) Carter. He married Betty L. Sheets on September 15, 1962, in Van Wert and she survives. Larry is also survived by his son, Terry (Annette) Carter, of Montpelier, Ohio; daughter, Beth (Mike) Picraux, of Bryan; three grandchildren, Brandyn Jaggers, Karlie (Robert) Coker and Shane Carter; two great-granddaughters, Skyla and Jaci Van Horn; and a brother, Tom (Anita) Carter, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Larry K. Carter will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Sam Byroads officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
