Jeremy D. Hamblin, age 16, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 11,2017. He was a sophomore at Edgerton High School, where he played basketball and baseball. Jeremy enjoyed making people laugh, the outdoors, camping, kyaking, water skiing and tubing, and he was a great card player. He had been employed by Hamler Chevrolet detailing cars.
Jeremy D. Hamblin was born on December 21, 2000, the son of Jeremy C. Hamblin and Chrissieanna H. Jones. Survivors include his parents, Chrissie (Brian) Batt, of Bryan and Jeremy (Brooke) Hamblin, of Hamilton, Indiana; his siblings, Lauren Hamblin, Alyssa Eckley, Brady Batt and Ajay Batt; his step-siblings, Taylor Batt, Austin Batt, Anthony Batt, Skylar Parker and Gavyn Parker; his grandparents, Michael Hamblin, of Hamilton, Indiana, Mary Hamblin, of Edgerton, Dan and Sandy Koch, of Alvordton, Ohio, Ruth Sanxter, of Hamilton, and Mike and Bonnie Batt, of Montpelier, Ohio; and his great-grandmother, Jenny Gibson, of Pioneer, Ohio.
Visitation will be held in the Edgerton High School on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Services will be held in Edgerton High School on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Fred Lab officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
