Rose Mary Johnson, age 90, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 10:48 P.M. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was a patient. Mrs. Johnson was a 1944 graduate of Edgerton High School and a lifelong resident of Edgerton. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Rose Mary Johnson was born near Edgerton on August 30, 1926, the daughter of Guy C. and Agnes A. (Goebel) Cape. She married Ezra Johnson on September 12, 1944, in Riverside, California, and he preceded her in death on March 24, 2004.
Survivors include two daughters; two sons; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Sherman (Rozella) Cape, Frank (Maralyn) Cape and Donald Cape, all of Edgerton; and two sisters, Ellen Sleesman and Rita Wuebben, both also of Edgerton. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Joyce Eberly; and three brothers, Kermit, Paul and Conrad Cape.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Services will follow at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, March 13, 2017, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton, with Father Frederick Duschl officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Edgerton.
