Ruth C. Dysinger, age 89, of Montpelier, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Genesis HelathCare-Bryan Center. Ruth worked on the Etch-A-Sketch line at The Ohio Art Company in Bryan for 25 years prior to her retirement. She was a former member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie 2233 and enjoyed ceramics, camping and fishing.
Ruth was born May 12, 1927, in Napoleon, Ohio, the daughter of Erving and Dorothy (Holdem) Thompson. She married John Zuber and he preceded her in death in 1985. She later married Vernon Dysinger and he also preceded her in death.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Shirley Brown, of Montpelier; sons, John (Deb) Zuber, of Bryan, Rick (Bev) Zuber, of Montpelier, and Ron (Chasity) Zuber, of Bryan; 18 grandchildren; many great- and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Davis, of Archbold; and brother, Richard “Skeeter” Thompson, of Napoleon. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; daughter, Patricia Hale; brother, Robert Thompson; and sisters, Myrtle, Evelyn, Josephine and Arlene Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, from 2:00-4:00 in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held beginning at 4:00 P.M. with Reverend Mary Beth Smith-Gunn officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery.
