William E. Babinger

William E. Babinger, age 91, of Hicksville, Ohio, died at 1:40 P.M. on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Heartland of Wauseon, Ohio, where he was a patient. Bill worked as a machinist for The Aro Corporation in Bryan, Ohio, for 42 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bryan. William E. Babinger was born on October 4, 1925, in Defiance County, Ohio, the son of Edward and Nellie (Hart) Babinger. He married Mary E. Gerencser on February 26, 1977, and she survives. Bill is also survived by a son, Steve (Betsy) Babinger, of Hicksville; daughter, Diane (Eugene) Browand, of Auburn, Indiana; stepdaughter, Sherri Green, of Bryan; stepson, Stanton Daugherty, of Armonk, New York; and grandchildren, Kacee Babinger, Amy Fahrer, Courtney Green, Randy Franks, and Ryan, Brock and Mark Huffman. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant twin brothers and a stepdaughter, Cynthia Cliffton. Grave side funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Farmer Cemetery with Pastor Mary Beth Smith-Gunn officiating. Service arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio.
