Billy R. Patton, age 74, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away at 4:24 P.M. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Regency Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. Bill was a Supervisor at Bryan Custom Plastics until his retirement and then started PTC Enterprises in Edon, Ohio, until his illness prevented him from working. He enjoyed living life. Bill was an Alabama Crimson Tide football and NASCAR fan; he enjoyed shooting pool and darts, bowling and shuffleboard. He was a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233.
Billy R. Patton was born on April 20, 1942, in Patton Hill, Alabama, the son of Charles and Rockell (Medders) Patton. He married Neva J. (Olds) on March 29, 1985, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives.
Bill is also survived by his children, Cheryl (Roger) Renard, of West Unity, Ohio, Reenie (Mark) Purk, of Montpelier, Ohio, Billy C. Patton, of Edgerton, and Jim (Jenette) Stark, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Patsy Patton and Frances Patton. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Tommie Sue, Jibbie and Patty, and brothers, Gaylon and Terry.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Private interment will be at Riverview Memory Gardens Cemetery, Defiance, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Patton Hill Cemetery Fund.
