Guadalupe Garza

Guadalupe Garza, age 88, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She had worked at Bryan Canning Company and was a member and Eucharistic Minister at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan. Guadalupe was born on September 3, 1928, in Kyle, Texas, the daughter of Crescencio and Juanita (Saucedo) Celestino. She married Ignacio R. Garza in Bryan on June 26, 1948, and he survives. Guadalupe is also survived by her children, Herminia (Don) Stewart, of Bryan, Ignacio R. Garza, Jr., of Brighton, Michigan, Mary (Dave) Bohn, of Homestead, Florida, Joe Garza, of Bryan, Ruben (Cindy) Garza, of Ney, Ohio, Stella (John) Shankster, of Bryan, Tony (Sheryl) Garza, of Paulding, Ohio, Filomeno (Cheryl) Garza, of Bryan, Delia (Roy) Cronk, of Sherwood, Ohio, John (Cheryl) Garza, of Bryan, and Steve (Jamie) Garza, of Bryan; 35 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Vickie Radel, of Bryan, Joe Celestino, of Austin, Texas, Billy (Wendy) Celestino, of Bryan, Tana (Darrell) VanDaylan, of Dayton, Ohio, Nancy (Carl) Webb, of Bryan, and Mary Celestino, of Corpus Christi, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Garza; daughter, Lisa Garza; brother, Pete Celestino; and sister, Betty Mendez. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 P.M. Services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, with Father James Halleron officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Memorials may be given to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
