Ida Mae Tucker, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 10:46 A.M. on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan, where she was a patient. A dear mother and loving grandmother, Mrs. Tucker was a press operator at several area companies. Ida enjoyed crafts and caring for her animals. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Indians.
Ida Mae Tucker was born on September 26, 1935, in Elk Garden, West Virginia, the daughter of Joe and Edna (Feathers) Shillingburg. She married Robert D. Tucker on July 10, 1951, in Morgantown, West Virginia, and he preceded her in death on May 26, 2012.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by two daughters, Sharon(Larry) Bray, of Montpelier, Ohio, and Leisa (Dan) Nickolson, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two sons, Joe Tucker, of Fort Wayne, and Larry (Kim) Tucker, of Mansfield, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband were a son, Robert D. Tucker, Jr., her sister, Mary Summers, and brothers, Earnest, Harry and Lawrence Aronhalt.
Visitation for Ida Mae Tucker will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held immediately following at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor David Nicholls officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery.
