Betty M. Wieland

Betty M. Wieland, age 85, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Monday morning, August 8, 2016, at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier, Ohio. Betty was a dietician manager at Cameron Hospital in Angola, Indiana, for over 30 years. She was a member of the Bryan Eagle Aerie 2233. Betty was born August 11, 1930, near Montpelier, the daughter of Leo J. and Verle (Cook) Goebel. Betty is survived by her children, Terry (Lynda) Wieland, of Stryker, Ohio, and Melody Wieland, of Bryan; three grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Darrell (Jeanette) Goebel, of Stryker. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Norma Jean Andres. A memorial service celebrating the life of Betty M. Wieland will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Dane Meuschke officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Betty will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Stryker. Memorials are requested to Lifeline of Ohio.
