Christine G. Clark, age 98, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away early Monday, June 6, 2016, at Fountain Park Inn and Villas, Bryan, where she was the first resident. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Bryan Chapter #248, Order of the Eastern Star. She was very musically talented and could play any song she heard on piano or organ.
Christine was born on June 29, 1917, in Lebanon, South Dakota, the daughter of Abraham and Zenith (Sailor) Rinkel. She married Earl D. “Buck” Clark on January 20, 1942, in Bryan, and he preceded her in death in August of 2001.
Christine is survived by her daughter, Vickie Clark, of Ouray, Colorado; stepdaughters, Nita (Calvin “JR”) Rosendaul, of Edgerton, and Janet Marcouler, of Redondo Beach, California; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Lou Harmon, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; stepson, Earl “Butch” Clark, Jr.; sister, Thelma Everitt; and brother, Donald Rinkel.
In accordance with Christine’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
