Margaret E. Gambler, age 68, of Bryan, Ohio, and formerly of Montpelier, Ohio, died at 1:50 A.M. on Sunday, May 8, 2016, in her home, surrounded by her family, after an extended illness. Mrs. Gambler was a former employee of Beam-Stream in Montpelier, where she had worked for twenty years. She was member of Restoration Tabernacle in Defiance, Ohio.
Margaret E. Gambler was born on July 1, 1947, in Defiance, the daughter of Burton E. and Berniece E. (Groh) Sharp. She married Bernard LeRoy “Sam” Gambler on December 31, 1985, in Defiance and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2008.
Survivors include one daughter, Tabbatha L. Miller, of Montpelier; two sons, David L. (Michelle) Gambler and Douglas E. Gambler, both of Bryan; seven grandchildren, Samantha Miller, Terra (David) Peggs, Jakob Miller, Ashley Gambler, Matthew Gambler, David Lee Gambler, Brian Gambler and Crystal Cook; one great-granddaughter, Kylah Miller; and one sister, Keeta (Ron) Miller, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Ella Gambler, two brothers, Tate Sharp and Kevin Sharp; and a half sister, Ricky Lee Ankney.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016, from 4:00-6:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will follow at 6:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home with Pastor Janet Strickland officiating. Interment will be private.
