Lowell D. Castor, age 80, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in Angola, Indiana, after an extended illness. Lowell worked in several area factories, including Fayette Tubular, for many years. He was a member of Grace Community Church in Bryan and enjoyed working in the church thrift store.
Lowell was born on September 8, 1935, in Bryan, to Jesse and Orpha (Wasnich) Castor. He married Sheron Babinger and she preceded him in death in 2001. He later married Kitty (Black) Enteman and she survives.
Lowell is also survived by his daughters, Penny Wagner, of Landers, California, and Kayleen (Scott) Ickes, of Angola, Indiana; sons, Tracy (Debbie) Castor, of Coldwater, Michigan, Mark Castor, of Bryan, and Trenton (Allison) Castor, of Hillsdale, Michigan; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jessica, Katie, Amy and Hayden; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Merlin (Louise) Castor and Dale (Mary) Castor, both of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Sheron Castor; son, Randy Castor, and brothers, Benny and Dennis Castor.
Funeral services for Lowell D. Castor will be held in Grace Community Church in Bryan at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 4, 2016, with Pastor Sam Byroads officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 A.M., prior to the service. Burial will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, near Pulaski, Ohio. Services have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
