Linda G. Cheek, age 68, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 8:40 A.M. on Monday, March 28, 2016, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, where she was a patient, after a brief illness. Mrs. Cheek was employed by Edgerton Metals for over twenty-five years and retired from JCIM in Bryan, Ohio, where she was a long-time employee. She enjoyed hunting bargains at garage sales and clearance sales and most especially loved Christmas and being with her family.
Linda G. Cheek was born on November 21, 1947, in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of Kyle and Opal (Johnson) Canaday. She is survived by three sons, Bryan (Jackie) Mckenzie, of Edgerton, Scott (Jessica) Cheek, of Edgerton, and Steven (Sondra) Cheek, of Sidney, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, June (Kenneth) Fuller, of Ceredo, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Gary Canaday, and three sisters, Norma Jean Stafford, Mary Selby and Betty Canaday.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Rick Stiver officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
