Pearl A. Babcock, age 82, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 9:50 A.M. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center. Pearl worked for the City of Bryan in the City Clerk’s office and Bryan Lights & Water Department. She had also worked at Bryan Custom Plastics and as a bartender at the Ranch House in Bryan. She was a member of the Women of the Moose #618 and held all offices in the organization and was a member of the Bryan Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
Pearl was born on October 6, 1933, in West Unity, Ohio, the daughter of Lloyd and Luella (Clark) Haynes. She was a graduate of West Unity High School. Pearl is survived by her son, Thomas R. (Deb) Babcock, of Henderson, Nevada; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Jo Babcock; her parents; a brother, Bill Haynes; and her sisters, Dorothy Gotshall, Lulubell Haynes, Lucille Inzelone, Beatrice Kaiser, Edith Roth and Betty Jane Haynes.
In accordance with Pearl’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan has been entrusted with her arrangements.
