James A. Baker, age 85, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 1:22 P.M. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Community Hospitals of Williams County-Bryan following a brief illness. Mr. Baker worked in warehousing for GM in Los Angeles, for 25 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Japan from 1951-1955. James A. Baker was born on September 10, 1930 in Montpelier, Ohio, the son of Clark W. and Lucille (Cotton) Baker. He is survived by a sister, Betty Mae Curry, of California; nine nieces and nephews and many special friends in Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Howard Warren Baker and Norman Thomas Baker. Grave side funeral services will be held at 4:30 P.M. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Farmer Cemetery with Pastor John MacFarlane officiating. Military rites will be accorded by Bryan VFW Post #2489. Services have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Memorials are requested to a charity of the donors choice.
