Edward D. Kline, age 75, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 9:00 P.M. on Monday, February 1, 2016, at Evergreen Manor Nursing Center, in Montpelier Ohio, where he was resident. Mr. Kline was a lifelong farmer and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. He had also been employed by the Butler Fertilizer Plant until it closed and then at Air-way in Edgerton. He was a member of the Butler American Legion Post #202, Butler, Indiana, and St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton. Edward D. Kline was born on February 13, 1940, near Edgerton, the son of Charles H. and Beulah (Walley) Kline. Survivors include his nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Kline; and three sisters, Thelma McFarland, Pauline Grundish and Karen Reinhart. A grave side service with military rites will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at St. Mary Cemetery in Edgerton.
