Sara E. Goll, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 11:30 P.M. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center, where she had been a resident. Mrs. Goll was a homemaker and was the bookkeeper for Goll Plumbing and Electric, her husband’s business. Sara was an avid animal lover and an expert horsewoman. She loved working with children by giving riding lessons. She was a life member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. Sara’s main hobby was taking digital photographs at horse shows, 4-H events and fairs, then giving the photos to her subjects. Sara was born on February 6, 1934, in Ripley, West Virginia, the daughter of Forna and Ellen (Hall) Harpold. She married George F. Goll III on November 7, 1958, in Stryker, and he survives. Sara is also survived by her son, Gary (Pam) Goll, of Bryan, and grandsons, George Goll IV, of Springfield, Virginia, and Travis Colbry, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters. Private burial will take place at Goll Woods Cemetery. A celebration of Sara’s life will be held in April at the Williams County Fairgrounds. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan has been entrusted with her arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Sara’s memory be directed to the Williams County Humane Society or the Williams County 4-H Endowment.
