Clifford Bryan Ellis, age 94, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center. Mr. Ellis worked as a polisher at The Aro Corporation in Bryan and was the projectionist at the Bryan Theater for many years, retiring at age 75. Clifford Bryan Ellis was born on November 8, 1921, in Sevierville, Tennessee, the son of William and Corabelle Ellis. He married Lucille I. Hammonds on September 20, 1940, and she survives. Survivors also include his son, Robert (Barbara) Ellis, of Bryan; grandchildren, Amy Ellis, Christine (Donald) Stafford, and Denise (Louis) Ellis, all of Bryan, and Robert (Christina) Ellis, of Montpelier, Ohio; eleven great-grandchildren, Sarah Young, Dennie Young, Athena (Jonathon) Legacy, Jennifer Stafford, Dusti Stafford, Kalaeb Stafford, Christopher Ellis, Sabrina Harding, Savannah Bostater, Seth Ellis and Synthia Ellis; and a great-great-granddaughter, Vanessa Harding. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dennis Ellis; a great-granddaughter, Alexis Hulbert; great-grandson, Evan Jones; two brothers; and two sisters. Private funeral services and entombment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Memorials are requested to the American Heart Association.
