Lyndal D. Osmun

Lyndal D. Osmun, age 77, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:17 P.M. on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after a brief illness. Mr. Osmun was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a retired truck driver. He had driven for several area trucking firms, including Bryan Truck Lines, Hornish Brothers Trucking and PG &T Trucking in West Unity, Ohio. He enjoyed camping, fishing and being outdoors, as well as playing Bingo. Lyndal D. Osmun was born on June 8, 1938, in Hillsdale, Michigan, the son of Howard and Atha (Lester) Osmun. He married Joyce E. Langowski on September 4, 1975, in Gulfport, Mississippi, and she survives. Survivors also include two daughters, Dawn Stark and Tiffany Osmun, both of Bryan; one son, Douglas Edward Osmun, of Bryan; three grandchildren, Brittany and Bobbi Jo Osmun and Domanic Grant; and one brother, Kenneth Osmun, of Farmer, Ohio. He was preceded in death by one brother, Eldon O. Osmun. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, from 1:00-4:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will follow at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, with Pastor Nick Woodall officiating. Interment will be private. Memorials are requested to the family for expenses.
