Justin E. Bowerman, age 86, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 2:00 A.M. on Friday, December 18, 2015, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center, where he was a resident. Mr. Bowerman was an accountant for The Aro Corporation and Aro/Ingersoll-Rand for 25 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War era. Mr. Bowerman was a member of Bryan American Legion Post #284, was active with the Bryan Senior Center and had attended New Hope Community Church. He enjoyed computers and had made trips to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for 16 years. Justin E. Bowerman was born on May 28, 1929, in Napoleon, Ohio, the son of Dowd and Maude Agnes (Skinner) Bowerman. He married Henrietta M. Garbers on May 27, 1951, in Wauseon, Ohio, and she survives. Mr. Bowerman is also survived by his son, Roger (Bonnie) Bowerman, of Lorain; daughter, Debra (Michael) Stuller, of Bryan; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Zugelder, of Cincinnati, Jason (Andrea) Stuller, of Sylvania, Chad (Lindsey) Bowerman, of Lorain and Jordan (Anna) Bowerman, of Lorain; seven great-grandchildren; and a niece, Gwen Erman, of Napoleon. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, DeEtta Ryan and Eileen Franz. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor David Nicholls officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery near Pulaski with grave side military rites provided by Bryan American Legion Post #284. Memorials are requested to the Bryan Senior Center or Community Health Professionals Hospice.
