David G. Taylor, age 62, of Montpelier, Ohio, died on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Community Health and Wellness Centers-Bryan, where he had been a patient. Mr. Taylor was the Sales Manager at Yoder Fuller Ford, formerly Angola Ford, for over twenty years. David was an avid golfer and loved time spent on the water. He was a member of the Lake Seneca Property Owners’ Association and Windwood Hollow Golf Course. David George Taylor was born on June 21, 1953, in Kenton, Ohio, the son of Robert L. and Barbara M. (Flowers) Taylor. He graduated from Elmwood High School and attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy for two years. While at the Academy, he played football and served on the USS Eagle, a sailing ship on the Great Lakes. He married Elizabeth “Beth” A. Wells on July 3, 1976, in Kenton and she survives. David is also survived by his daughter, Sandy (Rob) Palmbos, of Chicago, Illinois; parents, Robert and Barbara Taylor, of Arcadia, Ohio; sister, Roberta (John) Orzepowski, of Annandale, New Jersey; nieces, Lauren (Kai) Van Der Kolk and Jennifer (Joshua) Jantas; nephew, Jeffrey (Erin) Buchalter; aunts and uncles, Donald (Jean) Taylor, Thelma Hankins, Marilyn (Hal) Butte, Charlotte Taylor and Rex (Dori) Flowers. Funeral services for David G. Taylor will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Eric Dailey officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service.
