Dora S. Hebblethwaite, age 97, of Edon, Ohio, died at 7:43 P.M. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home near Logan, Ohio, where she was a resident. Mrs. Hebblethwaite was a lifelong resident of Edon and for many years was self-employed in cleaning area homes. She was a devoted member of the Bethlehem Christian Union Church near Edon. Dora S. Hebblethwaite was born on August 13, 1918, in Northwest Township of Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of Raye and Evolina (Haughey) Keller. She married Ransom W. Hebblethwaite on September 15, 1938, in Angola, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2003. Survivors include one son, Bill (Kay) Hebblethwaite, of Logan, Ohio; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Glenda Hebblethwaite, in 2000, four brothers and five sisters. Visitation will be held in the Bethlehem Christian Union Church near Edon, Ohio, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 13, 2015. Services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in the Bethlehem Christian Union Church with Pastor Mike Slagle officiating. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery. Memorials are requested to Bethlehem Christian Union Church.
