Joseph A. Nisley, age 67, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 4:40 A.M. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Facility after a brief illness. Mr. Nisley was a graduate of Fairview High School and had been employed by the Aro corporation and New Era prior to his retirement. He was a member of Bryan Eagles, Aerie #2233 and enjoyed karaoke singing especially to western and old country songs. The son of Ned A. and Virginia E. (Dietsch) Nisley, he was born on April 12, 1948, in Williams Center, Ohio. Survivors include one brother Albert Cook, of Bryan; three sisters, Mary (Alonzo) Buchs, of Edgerton, Cheryl Nisley, of Findlay and Rose (Walter) Carpenter, of Edgerton; a son, Stacy and three daughters, Jamie, Michelle and Tonya; and his longtime companion, Mary Ridenour of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Cook. In keeping with Joe’s wishes, the will be no visitation or services. Interment in Williams Center Cemetery will be private.
